Agreed, but will the likes of Bruno, Botman,Pope, Joelinton, Maxi, hang around long enough, while we strengthen the team and are competing at the top end regularity,and qualifying for Europe. It’s a short career and they are here to win trophies, a pity we couldn’t have won the Carabo, that would have shown intent. I think we need to DO something next season,either a trophy,or qualify for Europe, it’s a must I’m afraid.

Oh, I agree. I meant in terms of this season. Much as it's great that they've come, they've come to be part of a team hat is challenging and all the adulation in the world won't keep them here if that doesn't happen.

Exactly, we need to get a move on next season, whilst staying within the FFP rules of course. Winning something would be a start, we came close,hopefully one better next season.

Well, Maxi and Big Joe came in and endured the Fatso era so they must be satisfied with the improvement, as far as the other three, Pope, Botman and Bruno, I'm sure they have enough character to see out another couple of seasons and judge the improvement on that.

They know more than most what it takes to build a good strong squad to challenge on all fronts and it isn't done over a couple of transfer windows.
