    Time for Two up Top

With just getting the odd point, not looking enough to pull away or avoid the drop, and none of our attackers / strikers in fantastic form, maybe playing two up front could help in finding the net.
A combination of say Bamford/Gnonto, Rutter/Perkins or when fit Rodrigo/Gnonto, giving that bit of support together - the single striker not really working, so surely anything different is worth a go. If we do go down, better to have tried something different than think what might have worked. Somehow need to put 2-3 wins together asap.

You don't need 2 upfront I call it BS.
You need creative players all over the ground which we don't have especially mids.
You need LB Rb which can go forward and cross, You need CBs who can go forward and cause chaos at set peaces which we don't have.
You need wingers that can outrun defenders and make crosses and occasionally score which only Gnonto can do. Strikers are there for finishing and unless they get proper service might as well not have a striker let alone 2.
Typing this man I feel that this team is totally garbage.

Agreed in part, but if we DID have players with the kind of skills and abilities you mention, two up front would be a handful for any opposition, and less easily defended against than the current "lone striker" nonsense.

Shame when you consider how much the club has spent over the last two transfer windows (approximately £100m net) when the likes of Brentford spent around half of that (netting off the sales from transfers in), and lie 9th having beaten Fulham (who spent around the same net amount by the way) on Monday, with European football being a distinct possibility for either/both. If only.

When we finished 9th in our first season back I thought we as well would be knocking on the European door, unfortunately we've gone drastically backwards.

Yep. We didn’t build or strengthen our squad on that result at all. Instead we run the next season on empty.
Was it Bielsa or the board? Suppose we won’t know.
But it the perfect platform to work from. Opportunity missed.

Yeah can't argue with that Billy. But I guess the likes of West Ham and Leicester would be saying the same. Wasn't long ago that they were both riding high in the top half of the comp as well.

In the recent Italian media interviews Radz pretty much said Bielsa asks for specific players in his last January window and they refused to back him.

If you read back on Bielsa interviews he never said he didn’t want players but if you weee going to buy the player should be a material upgrade on what we had.

You have to read between the lines a little as he was too humble to criticise directly.

Sure he would have been delighted with Adams, Sinisterra and Aaronson
