You need to remember that people do not require any qualifications to become a local authority councillor.
They just have to represent the correct political party and stand for election in the correct ward
In my opinion every local authority councillor should stand as an independent councillor which would mean that they would have to think for themselves and vote for what was best for their local electorate not being told how to vote by the local leader of their political party.

I already know that the SNP controlled Scottish Government are fiddling the calculation of the CO2 emissions throughout Scotland and they were doing it when Nippy was photobombing at COP26 in Glasgow at the beginning of November 2021.
