    O/T - Gary Lineker

So it’s becoming clear that the BBC have asked big ears to retract his tweets and as he has basically told them to ram it, that is why he is ‘stepping back’ from MOTD. It’s not a ‘mutual’ decision by any means. Good on him.

Phucking Tories - criticise Lineker but previously promoted a guy who wrote columns about people coming from Bongo-Bongo Land and Muslim women looking like pillar boxes to no less than Prime Minister.

Yeah, total nonsense. It was clearly a personal opinion and nothing to do with his work at the BBC. 🤔

Like Lineker will give a ****e and won't get picked up by one of the other sports broadcasters. The BBC are totally cutting their nose off to spite their face.

Impartial as long as they do what the tory government tell them. Hmmmm.

The far right UKIP Government don't like it up em.
Alan Sugar and Andrew Neil both worked for the BBC and tweeted pro Tory stuff. Nothing happened. The Government are trying to control the media.
