Sing, dance, act, present or entertain.

If you want to pontificate on politics, be a politician.

These TV presenters want ‘their cake and eat it too’.
They want to be paid lavish salaries and post their own political views in the media into the the bargain.
I would not shed a tear if ex footballer Ian Wright lost his well paid job as a presenter on BBC Match of the Day.
There are plenty of other places to get football results if Final Score ended on BBC1 and it might actually encourage people to attend football matches in person instead of getting an up to the minute latest score on BBC.
Perhaps BBC Scotland could also do us a favour and end their Afternoon Sportscene programme where we have to listen to former footballers being biased in favour of SPFL clubs based in Glasgow and the surrounding area.

In a "normal" country they would just get replacement and move on.

I wouldnae mind so much if any of these people that are all for open door immigration suggested a solution. Local authorities in England have been trying for a while now to block the government placing immigrants in hotels in their areas and sooner or late they'll win, then what? There's clearly not enough social housing already without flooding the country with countless immigrants, and just about every local authority has increased council tax and rent to try and help already stretched budgets. Linekers not bothered is he? It's hardly gonna affect him. They reckon that 2% of the Albanian male population aged 20-40 crossed the channel last year and call it racist if you want but that's clearly not sustainable. Not a single solution offered by anyone and if they do they're simply labeled Nazis or "the hard right"

If Lineker wants to make his own political views via Twitter he should stand for election in the next General Election and spout forth in the House of Commons. He can set up his own Pro uncontrolled immigration to the U.K. political party and see if he gets elected.

It has just been announced that tonight’s BBC Sportscene on the BBC Scotland channel will not have any presenters on it only football matches.
That in my opinion can only be an improvement and the BBC should continue this format in the future which save paying lavish salaries to pro Rangers, Celtic and in the case of Stephen Thomson pro St Mirren presenters.

I hope that he enjoyed watching his beloved England rugby team getting hammered 53-10 at home by the French.
