dont know how close you were to it - BT....but from the cameras eye, it difficult to make out, though from the position of Fletchers arm and Ekdals body language, would "assume" that there was some contact, possibly a shove...but why didn't Ekdal let the ball roll out / kick it out ...instead of deciding on a poor backpass that could have led to a goal.

He was also involved in the earlier close call (5min 26s, highlights) when overpowered... allowing Caulker to head on goal, meaning the two attempts that Muric had to expertly save, had there origins around Ekdal.

Ekdal was fouled. End of. It finished 3-0, never mind.

He was pushed, how do you think he ended up being off the pitch?

He was clearly off balance...imagine running at that speed in that direction and playing a ball back to the keeper at such an angle. Clearly off balance

    video shows this
    referee supports this
    player does not complain
    no burnley players complain
    VK doesn't mention it
Most of the unbiased crowd know he's off balance.

It was even snowing and slippy underfoot

    Wow, Like cmon BT

No Burnley player complains to the referee ever U_G. FFS.

You obviously sit nowhere near most of the totally Clarets biased crowd who sit around me, and knew he'd been pushed off balance.

    Wow! Like c'mon U_G.
