"China ramps up coal power despite carbon neutral pledges"

"Local governments in China approved more new coal power in the first three months of 2023 than in the whole of 2021, according to official documents. The approvals, analysed by Greenpeace, reveal that between January and March this year, at least 20.45 gigawatts of coal power was approved, up from 8.63GW in the same period in 2022. In the whole of 2021, 18GW of coal was approved."

This is what the Eco Loons can't get through their straw filled craniums. Quite simply, it doesn't matter what we do, heat pumps, windmills, solar panels, EVs, none of it makes any difference while China, and India, continue to build more coal fired power stations. None of it matters, none of it will make any difference, it's disingenuous to pretend it does, it is really lunacy to believe it does.

sinkov, you can add to all that the fact that they keep launching rockets to explore this, that and the other in outer space as well as Elon Musk experimenting with his 'rapid unscheduled disassembly' modules.
Talking of Eco Loons, it appears that they buy foodstuff imported by planes from here, there and everywhere and use their own fossil fueled vehicles to travel to the shops/supermarkets to buy them.

The whole world has become a 'con' and is being run by 'unknowns' whose desire is to exercise their control over the population. They can rule out this bloke in Ashington because I am not playing, I have better things to do with my life. UTC
