    Maybe it helped that he was so bad at Bromley that he had to be taken off - in the sense that it jolted him out of whatever malaise was affecting him. He's certainly put in a couple of solid performances since. And we do need te badger of those first few months, his role in the squad should guarantee a lot of game time

We can see the pattern, slow start to the season and then, with the games under his belt, getting stronger as the season progresses (wasn't he carrying an injury v Grimsby?). If he finishes as well as in his 1st season in particular, we're going to see the very best of him for the run-in.

    He’s far more comfortable in the centre
