Even more remote than Ballumbie. And extortionate prices generally.

There were three things on the horizon off the park for me this month that I knew would tell us a lot -
    Season ticket sale launch
    Dee4Life monthly update
    Stadium planning permission
The first one arrived today, words almost fail me. Pretty sure that if the Open Letter Group had stayed on the scene they would have had a piece in tomorrows Courier re it and drawn a response, one year on, we’ve gone backwards despite all involved being well intended. Will be interesting to see how Dee4Life respond.

it would be a nice exercise to do a survey of d4l members opinions re the season ticket prices thru a survey monkey type survey, they could then get the results out there and into all the different groups and dct's etc, prob within 24hrs
personally dont see how that could be attributed to rocking the boat etc within any reasonable persons thoughts

Excellent idea and surely nothing stopping them.
Would love to hear the reason for not doing this if they don’t. A good practical suggestion that would achieve something and in a timely manner. Quick questionnaire on season ti key pricing sent out to the 400 plus D4L members with a quick turnaround. One of the successes of the OLG was their ability to get over 1000 petition signatures in a couple of days. They’ve got the members contact details on the database, not difficult if anyone can see the potential benefit and be arsed. Interesting.

Alternatively the D4L board of directors could set up a questionnaire to be completed by all Dundee supporters not just D4L members asking them what they think about the season ticket pricing for next season.

Ayr United FC have the right idea about their season ticket prices for next season. https://ayrunitedfc.co.uk/season-tickets-202324

How about an alternative pricing policy? How much does the current season ticket sales bring in? Maybe 3000 paying plus 500 kids. £20 increase is £60k. Better arrangements for PATG could raise a lot more imo.

PATG would help stop Adults under OAP age purchasing an OAP ticket online especially if there were separate cash turnstiles for OAPs and children.

IYO, why should OAPs pay significantly less than someone aged 22/25, on minimum wage?

    It's a concept from a different era.

It's hard to eradicate in one go but the idea of adult concessions should have been done away with over the last decade by narrowing the gap each year.

I abuse the system at just about every away ground, got an adult tic for partick as diff between OAP and adult is £5 but when it's £10 or more I always buy an OAP.
