I totally agree Alfy. He is as quick as Ben Mee I would say and a much better footballer.

I think KC may not be technically correct in saying you cannot be taught to run quicker. I agree each person will have a limit to their speed but they can be coached to get to that speed with the correct techniques, muscles etc. He may not be at his bodies optimal speed yet

A quick google search brought this

Can a person be taught to run faster?
One point rarely discussed when talking about athletics is that speed and movement are skills that can be learned and improved. In fact, movement and speed are outcomes of the athlete's power producing abilities and their skill in executing ideal movement mechanics.

You need to head down to Gawthorpe and post that for the muppets who turned out in Burnley shirts today. Pathetic.

I've no doubt anyone can be taught/trained to run a bit faster, but I can't imagine turning a slow footballer into a quick one. Any difference would only be marginal and in any case, fast footballers are also training to get faster, so a slowcoach will never catch up.

If you want to see "fast" sinkov watch Kyle Walker in real full blown up action, he was giving Zaroury a yard and catching him in two.

I know, Tella took him on once and he can shift, no chance, Walker didn't have to get out of 2nd gear. I don't like Walker playing for England, he always seems like an accident waiting to happen, but Gareth loves him, and he's quick, no doubt about that.
