    Here’s to the ladies

We don’t comment too often on the women’s team who are doing the club proud. Second in their division and could go top.

Congratulations to them. Long may their run continue.

Talking of ladies, the head of FIFA has said they are going to get the same deal as the men at the next World cup if he has his way. Think they have this in tennis already.

Yes,well done and long may it continue. My granddaughter down South is quite a good footballer and is an avid Clarets fan.👍

When I watched them they struggled against brighouse town but since then they have made some new signings and recently won 7-0.
I think only the top team gets promotion from the northern premier League so good luck to them.

They have some big fixtures coming up against Derby, Wolves and then Forest. Three wins there would be brilliant.

Derby subs resulted in a bit of a fight back making it 3-1 but then a late Burnley pen restored the three goal cushion 4-1 FT. For the record Derby were unbeaten in 2023. Puts us back into 2nd, one point behind Forest but with a game in hand. They are also undefeated this season (us that is, not Forest).
