    it's all down to evolution and eggs that don't roll out the nest. if they produced round egss they'd discover football and then they'd become tribal and then all hell would break loose and life as they know it would never be the same.

    I don’t produce eggs so I must be really unhappy then. I think I would be if all I had to do was eat, sleep, sh#t and someone gave me housing, food and water, as well as paying the bills. Sounds a bit like someone on benefits, now I think of it.

    I once did a stint as a volunteer in a Citizens Advice Bureau during a mid-life sabbatical, if only it was that easy to access benefits S_c.
