    Goalkeeping situation.

    There are reports that if Albion are promoted, and it’s a big if, we would be interested in resigning Sam Johnstone. Why? To my mind Palmer is extremely competent and Griffiths a decent enough back up. Obviously we would let Button leave but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to resign Johnstone. There are more problem areas than the goalkeeper and anyway, I can’t see us gaining promotion.

    Johnstone couldn’t wait to leave, let him rot where he is, Palmer and Griffiths are better anyway, at least they come for crosses not stand like a quivering jelly on the goal line

    Wouldn’t want Johnstone back even on a free!! Palmer streets ahead at commanding his box and he can even kick it too!
