He just wasn't anywhere near as good a finisher , but he was better in other areas.

It's no surprise Woots is doing well there. They play in a slightly different style and always seem to have 2 up top.
You have to fancy them to go up again, a table of the last 30 games might have them top - they've gone on an extended run just like last year.
Having watched Maca play the position this season, it shows how flawed it was last season having Wootton as your lone spearhead...but then IB had wing-backs who never really got forward as well, so there was a lot awry really

Agreed we are creating far more chances this season than last ..but even so Langstaff is a far better finisher than Wootton who is a better hold up player but we didn’t press at all last season where as this season we attack from all over
