    OT some folk never learn

Young PSV fan. Got arrested and was given a 1 year stadium ban. While serving that ban he was arrested again and given a 3 year ban. Neither ban stopped him going to PSV home games. At a recent European game he went on the pitch, mid game, and assaulted the visiting keeper. He's just been convicted and is now serving 2 months inside. He did apologise, explaining that he was out of his tree and had zero recollection of the incident. As well as the prison sentence, he has also been given a 40 year ban from every stadium in the Netherlands. His boss has also sacked him.

I fully expect to read about him being arrested at a game next season. If a 1 year and 3 year ban don't keep him away, neither will a 40 year one.

Might be a bit 1984 but surely for the likes of him or released *** offenders etc why not fit some sort of permanent tag, microchip etc and if he steps foot in a stadium an alarm sets off and back inside for an increasing amount of time each time.

Of course can imagine do gooders would claim violation of his human rights.

He may have had zero recollection but I imagine the TV footage would have been damning. Bit like if I got pissed up, murdered the neighbour and claimed innocence as I couldn't remember doing it! Ah well, and I thought we had the best hooligans: are you sure it wasn't Max Verstappen's dad?

I like the microchipping idea though, although I'm equally sure it won't happen. But in extremes like this, it might just work

Didn't realise Jos did that, nice bloke not. Imagine what it must be like if the verstappens have his (potential future) in laws round for dinner. An Arrogant **** for a father and a massive racist for a father in law, not great.
