My car is 17 years old, has done 190.000 miles, remains reliable and gets me effectively from A to B.
I really wouldn't want to exchange it for anything modern.
How much hassle and unnecessary cost if one of the many computerised items starts being problematic?

I got confused by a flat tyre warning light in mine,it looked just like a water temperature light to me so anything more advanced than that is wasted on me
