is VK on £131,000 a week?

I thought he was on around 35k a week at Burnley. This article if you read down it says 131,000 a week? Surely not

The link in the article says he's receiving 2 million € per season at Burnley and was on 3 million € at Anderlecht so a big pay drop, but it also says his net worth is $ 45 million (not sure why one's in euros and the other dollars) so he's not short of a bob or two. He's obviously got a plan.

So 2 mill euros a season over a year works out at 38.4K per week or about £35,000.

I read previously that he's the highest paid manager in the Championship on £80k a week, but a dude's salary is a matter between him and his employer IMHO.

It makes the Tottenham job more appealing as Conte is on £15m a season

I've no idea what he's on, but I think that's a lot more than Sean was on. If so it would seem perverse, you fire off all the top earning players you can and then pay the manager more. It doesn't make sense.

I'm 99.9% sure SD was on exactly the same wage that was offered to VK sinkov. £80k a week.

I wondered how we could afford to pay them both the same amount of money at the same time, thank you Everton.

Yes I can accept that, it just didn't make sense to try and cut the wage bill by firing off every big earner they could, and then up manager's wage in a lower division. I'm by no means convinced about our new owners, but I couldn't see them being that daft.

It seems to have worked out well though mon ami. Genius or the world's luckiest Mormon? I'm still not sure which.

If he can get £12 million plus for Weghorst sinkov, I'm putting him in the "Lucky genius class" mon ami.
