    Cambridge V Carlisle.

Cambridge has a population of about 150,000, Carlisle is about the same i would guess. Even though its small it contibutes 30 billion quid to the economy, that FOUR TIMES the premier league nonsense.

And you, sheep shearers, fishermen or whatever, you want internet, cars, food, heating etc. Stuff Cambridge pays for.

You won t believe those figures so if your bothered go to the Cambridge independant newspaper.

Economically its Cambridge 30 billion, v Carlisle one hundred pounds fif**** shillings, fourpence half penny.

Doff your cap to the future, serfs. Sarf 30 billion, norf 0. Griff, next time you post predictocomp, im paying for your electric.

    Ha ha.

    Asshats.

Thats interesting blackdog. Anyway, in 2019 462,000 OVERSEAS tourists visited Cambridge. It must have been the lunchtime classical music in the colleges.

How many OVERSEAS tourists duz Carlisle get?

How many world reknowed colleges are there?

Can anyone play a piano? Id like you too list the reasons why i should visit Carlisle.

Carlisle is half the size of Cambridge Frank, even so it got 8 million visitors in 2010 and a large proportion of those would have been of a foreign persuasion. They come for the castle, not poncey music, and the wall, not moth-eaten colleges. Then they go on to do the Beatrix Potter stuff in the lakes, you can’t move for folk from China and Japan, then you get Europeans visiting the city then going on to the Wordsworth stuff. It’s got to the stage where we’re fighting them off with pitchforks.

In the Lake District we do not have them there big, new, modern trains. We have to make do with tiny steam trains.

The Lake District is a lovely part of the UK.

It is on Cumbrian territory.. so is Carlisle..

I would bet Cumbria gets 5 x visitors every year than Cambridge… people will go to Carlisle for either a day visit or to stay there…

    Frank being Frank…

I am amazed, and im calling you a varmint griff, there is no carlisle castle is there? If there is the attendance is by Doris and Charles from Rugby.

    The lake district isnt Carlisle.

You create false facts and websites, you must have a big criminal organisation . If Carlisle makes money, im sure it doesnt, it will make about twelve pounds profit every month. No one goes to Carlisle unless they have too.

Gillingham might as well be in France, Carlisle might as well be in Ireland. I bet if i listened to you speak im sure you would sound like county Amtrim.

I should have punched in the english, hah, cities that has NO tourists, guess what. If im chinese, and i can go to carlisle or cambridge, or Bury St Edmunds, even rugby, what will i pick?

Id spend hours on the motorway to see a castle.

    Thankyou very much.
