But then that doesn't give a professional moaner like Islay any pleasure to indulge himself in his favourite pastime.
The management of Dundee Football Club should have realised that there would be a larger than normal crowd at the Arbroath game on 2nd January 2023 as this was the first home game to be played at Dens Park at New Year since January 2020 thanks to the Covid lockdowns.
Back in 2020 there were cash turnstiles for Dundee supporters in the Main Stand and occasionally the Bobby Cox Stand.
People returning to the Dundee area for the New Year holiday and deciding to attend the Arbroath game would have assumed that there were still cash turnstiles in operation for Dundee supporters.
Fine if they were Arbroath supporters as cash turnstiles were in operation for Arbroath supporters sitting the Bob Shankly Stand but as usual non season ticket Dundee supporters are treated as second class supporters by the management of Dundee Football Club.

It’s just impossible. Hopefully today cheered you up?

    Nothing is impossible.
Sitting in the Main Stand watching Dundee score 7 goals certainly cheered me up.
I just hope that the manager manages to get all the players he wants to keep for next season signed up on new contracts.

Got tickets no problem via shop on match day. Surprised by so much green grass on the pitch and so many cheery supporters in the Bobby Cox.
