Can't get on their forum, but I would like to ask them.
How big is their army of squeegy armed steward, waiting for a freak weather occurrence?

They make it sound like we paid the weather to rain that bad.
Sent a phone call at half time saying we're losing get the game abondended.
I'm sure the drainage is upto efl standards.

I can see the piss take by the groundsman could upset them. (There wasn't Any need for it really)

But why they think we should pay for there travel etc is beyond me .

A "act off god" is not insurable

I can’t see what the groundsman did that was wrong.

If it was pushing water back into the pitch then maybe that could be misjudged because it’s a logical thing to do to try to get the water to drain through a greater surface area. But the ground man wasn’t to know that Cardiff Sludgegulpers Appreciation Society were having their day out.

Also I don’t think it’s been mentioned that the Cardiff mob were singing “ you’re being sacked in the morning” to the groundsman. So he might not have been trying too hard

50 squeegy stewards might have cleared some of the surface water, but the pitch was sodden. End of.

We are playing Cardiff not Grimsby Nards.

Not sure why we needed any sort of enquiry over this, the ref made the decision not Rotherham United, silly people. 😜

Yes and it would have been impossible to reinstate the white lining much of which had been washed away in key locations such as the goal line

Cardiff is a lovely place but I can’t help think that the local education authority has failed parts of their population
