Nothing to add to what has already been (very eloquently) written.

Condolences to all who knew him.

Worth listening to Radio Notts in the game from Friday

The staff seem to have come together to support each other and Jason's family. It was lovely to hear the owners came straight up from London. Their compassion and belief in going above and beyond for their staff will be of huge help in the coming weeks and months

Details of Jason's funeral and a message from his parents...

Jason Turner’s parents, Jen and David, have confirmed a date for his funeral and expressed their immense gratitude for the support they’ve received.

Jason, our chief executive, passed away suddenly last month, prompting a wave of tributes from friends and colleagues across football and beyond.

And Jen and David have taken great comfort from the many beautiful words people have shared.

They said: “As a family, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to us at this devastating time, particularly by Chris and Alex Reedtz, Luke Williams, the club’s amazing staff and supporters.

“Losing Jason is the hardest thing we’ve ever experienced – but the messages, tributes and flowers have been so reassuring.

“At the recent match against Wealdstone, it was an honour to lead out the team in Jason’s memory and we can’t thank both clubs enough for the wonderful way they welcomed us and paid tribute to our beloved son.

“We look forward to being back at Meadow Lane on Saturday in support of Luke, the team and club – all of whom Jason loved so much – in the match against Woking.

“Jason’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s church at 12pm on Wednesday 3 May. The procession will pass through the main stadium gates and alongside the Derek Pavis Stand on its way to the church and any supporters who wish to be there are most welcome.

“Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone for their thoughtfulness and respect.”
