    But honestly wouldn't miss anyone
Some of them out of contract, some will be difficult to deal with and some will be fine when we drop a level. 🤔

I think our problem (not helped with such a high churn of managers) is partly that we aren’t sure of our brand of football.

In Scotland I reckon you either have the resources to be a ball-playing outfit or don’t and largely operate hoofball/hatchet tactics. We have fallen in between the 2 and guess what…fallen right through the crack.

Not sure what Goodwin’s preferred style is? I know what he was as a player, but is that who he is as a manager? Honestly don’t know…up until he became our gaffer I’d never really paid any attention to how he set his teams up.

Not sure we will have much choice next season tho given the league/teams we will face….ugly!
Absolutely agree. Ive said a few times we are a nothing team. No longer good enough to outplay anyone & not tough enough to bully teams. Too many lightweight players with lightweight mentality. Would be brutal to watch no doubt but maybe its time to just get big no nonsense guys in. Seems to work for a good few teams & as more than a few on here have said fk being entertained with decent football,a win is all that matters

Why can't we aspire to be the best of both as ultimately that's what we really want. A team that will fight and scrap for everything but with the ability to play some attractive football now and again. Yes I probably am deluded but for me that is the Utd team I want to watch and support.

Think this was what I was referring to when saying we didn't have an identity/brand, we had no way of winning football matches because we were so poor at everything. You need to find what the strength of your squad or team is then play to that strength first and foremost, and then try and develop it from there. Our strength last season was being well organised and relatively good defensively. Then we tried to evolve into a more attacking model this season, which I don't anyone would have an issue with. Problem was it was like we tried to run before we could walk, our attempts at attacking football were shocking, and seemed to be punt the ball up to Fletcher with no support, and no pace. At the same time we lost what we were good at by ditching and defensive cover in midfield and buying the worst goalkeeper in our history.

I can get what people are saying about the poor football. I maybe that is fair enough when people trot out, if you want and watch good football support Man City etc... but I went to first game of the season, away to Killie, and didn't enjoy it one bit, football was dreadful that day, couldn't pass the ball, and the attack with Fletcher/Watt was brutal, no pace. We had a spell of about 30 mins when we dominated the match and created nothing. I didn't go to another away match until near the end of season, continued going to home games, but it just simple came down to I wasn't enjoying what I was watching.

Watching a team that have the ability to put the boot in and acurately pass the ball to the flair players is all I want! Winning a second ball would help as well!
