Walsall v Carlisle United, Bescot Stadium, League Two, 3:00pm Monday 10th April

Will Paul Simpson make changes to a team that won its last match? To change a winning team could be an error.

Will he use the same team? To keep exactly the same team for the second match in 4 days with a third in 9 days on Saturday could be an error.

Yes, but I’m not saying to which.

Let's get the match won in 70 minutes. Then the best / most elderly players can be substituted before they go into the Red Zone. Thus Paul Simpson gets a choice from the full squad for the match against Northampton Town on Saturday. Also, several more players get a chance to be 'at it' in preparation for more substantial appearances in future.

All games are difficult at this stage of the season and Walsall are coming off a heavy defeat. I think he will stick to the same team (if Guy is available). Personally I would like Edmondson for Patrick. We may get 1.000 away fans but I will I follow it as the M6 north will be a nightmare after the match

    Other games.

Hartlepool v Stevenage will be a difficult game for Evans with H on the up.
Similarly Mansfield v Rochdale, and Northampton v Gillingham (9 wins from last 10?).
Newport also on a good run which we hope can continue away to Stockport.
Salford need to win to maintain play off options.
    Barrow in last chance saloon
