With wins in back to back matches, Wolves are starting to clear themselves of the muck and getting into safety. Leicester, on the other hand, have gone backwards. After 22 matches, the Foxes were sitting at 24 points and were six points and goal difference away from the relegation zone. Since then, they have lost 8 of 9, with only a draw against Brentford with four losses on either side of the match. They sacked Brendan Rodgers on April 2, but their three results since then have been three losses. They hired former Villa and Walsall manager Dean Smith (also stints at Norwich and Brentford) to hold the dam, but his contract only runs til the end of the season. In our first match with them, we lost 0-4 despite outshooting and having a greater quantity of quality chances. The Foxes scored on 4 of their 5 shots on goal and we had nothing. They have scored more goals than most of the other relegation contenders, with only 10 other clubs scoring more than them. But only two clubs have conceded more goals than them. Annoyingly, we Lopetegui has had only mediocre form against relegation contenders with a record of 3-1-2, having won the first three (Everton, West Ham, Southampton) and only drawn or lost the last three (Bournemouth, Leeds and Forest). A win here would all but seal safety. Would put us at 37 points and up to 10 points clear with six matches to go.

We don't for some reason have a very good record against Leicester. They beat us 4-0 at Molineux in October, however their form has dropped off recently, so a win at this time of the season would be very welcome for us.

Same starting XI as last week. Neves in the squad but will come off the bench today.
Cunha’s goal really took the air out of Leicester. Wolves been the better team since.
With starting three strikers, expected Wolves to get chances. Thought it’d be a 4-5 goal game, but Leicester look fairly lifeless now
Clumsy challenge by Sa and Leicester get a lifeline through a penalty.
Very disappointing loss. Wolves were completely in control and Leicester had all but given up before the penalty.
Hate to criticise the man but I think Lopetegui got his subs terribly wrong today.
Taking off Costa (and wasn't he pissed off about it) lost our focal point and we owned that midfield in the first half with Lemina and Gomes bossing it . Was Lemina injured? If not it ain't broke, don't need fixing.
Poor result against a side in freefall but worse, a Dean Smith side.
