    Didzy 1 - 0 Brewers 0

Didzy scores (well no other joker ever does) and the rest managed to hang on this time! We get the 3 points and are back in the mix, now can we stay there for another two games?? So it's onto Pompey for another stress building episode! Who needs Valium, pass the Peddy!

We nearly didn't, but Ipswich did. 18 penalties in Rams league games now (A10/F8) which seems well above average.

Its a results game and we got the result. Squeaky bum time indeed. I do have a certain amount of sympathy for Owls supporters who like us were well clear and then hit poor form to drop out of the auto places. Going down to the wire!

We beat a side with an excellent recent record against top six teams. Our GD situation was helped by Ipswich apparently hammering Posh. A good day, putting the ball back in our court...but, as mac suggests, are we now Derby or Didzy County?

No, you're Dodgy County Another pen and an extremely dubious one at that. Well I'll go to the bottom of our stairs!

if there is a bias as you seem to suggest how do you explain that we have had more penalties awarded against us than we have been given, more than any other club?

Definite penalty. Had an exchange of messages with an old friend of the Brewers persuasion yesterday. He said he thought it was dodgy at first sight but when seen from other angles, including the one the ref had, it was nailed on. See you at Wembley Gunt.

Burton ran the show for 10 minutes. Hit the post. That woke Derby up. Much the better footballing side after that. Albion 6 shots, 2 of which were on target. For Derby it was 23 and 10. Albion were well set up and defended well, as a unit. Had to otherwise we would have had 40 odd shots with 20 odd on target. The Burton keeper had a blinder. BAFC man of the match imo. The penalty. With my qualified refs hat on it was a penalty. Hopefully Albion can keep most of this side together and strengthen on the attacking side for next season and do well. If we can sneak into the playoffs it would be great. I expected midtable at best. More than happy with the bonus of still being in with a shout.

Some of the quick passing football, played on the ground, was a joy to behold. Didzy is a hero but, as he has done in a few games of late, he tried to be too "intricate" and needs to get back to basics at 0-0 or 1-0.

    I enjoyed the game.

That's a weak correlation. Even if you have 20 penalties given against you, the ones that count are the dodgy ones that decide the outcome of your season. The Championship will give SW or Derby a much warmer welcome than Barnsley. The penalty decision was an outrage compared to the one we didn't get at Burton. As mentioned before, you have to question the integrity of a ref that refuses to give a pen even when a defender blocks a shot in a way that would do credit to Gordon Banks.
