As mentioned before, you have to question the integrity of a ref that refuses to give a pen even when a defender blocks a shot in a way that would do credit to Gordon Banks.
If you want to talk dodgy penalties, young White has had 2 awarded against him in recent weeks. Neither should have been given. Of the 10 given against us I'd judge 4 or 5 of them as being unwarranted. The rest correct decisions. Of the 8 we've had I rate 2 as being lucky. I also think there's half a dozen others we should have got but didn't.

Evens itself out? Not when you're Derby apparently.

I'm not so sure. If you have to ponder over a pen award from several different angles, it's nearly impossible to determine what the ref saw, if players impeded his view, and indeed whether the player 'earned' the award. If there was any doubt he should not have given it.

As long as you beat SW in the semis, that's fine by me.

You're beginning to sound bitter already and you haven't got to the championship yet! Not welcome there? Perhaps I can understand why

Who pondered? A Burton fan. I said penalty immediately. So did the ref. You're straw clutching Gunt..... and not doing it very well either

Surely it was the Brewers that were bitter, GP (sorry, dreadful pun out of the way). Yes perhaps you can. The reason we won't be welcome is we're not a money spinner for Sky TV.

You and the pondering Burton fan were both wrong. Since, as Kant would argue, you cannot view the ball via the senses, just by reason alone, you didn't actually see anything at all. Now that is straw clutching.

its a bit weird that people think we as Derby receive preferential treatment, the Derby that the EFL went out their way to force out of business?

Special yes, preferential no. EFL wanted to shaft our former owner, the club was "in the way".

A 'big club' such as Derby, although not necessarily Derby itself, receives preferential treatment from the EFL. It's not weird to believe that.

Dont know if i fully agree, maybe at first, but stepping in the way they did in January blocking potential sales because Boro wanted their pound of flesh was aimed at Derby not Morris. Morris was technically off the scene then.
