Chalky, there’s time so get out and vote. Frank will be (probably) and somebody needs to redress the balance.

Do not just take your polling card with you. That is not enough to enable you to vote. Presumably you did not apply to your local authority for a Voter Registration document? So, take at least one of these qualifying documents :-
    Passport
    Driving Licence
    Senior Citizen's Bus Pass
    Senior Citizen's Oyster Card

Chalky, did the voting go smoothly when you used your driving licence as voter identity?

You know what happens when a batsman has scored 100 runs.

Well, when the news comes through that the Tories have lost their one thousandth council seat in the local elections Rishi Sunak should
open the door of 10 Downing Street, step out, drop his trousers and wave his dick towards the assembled press on the other side of the street.

The Conservatives at the moment have lost 1027 council seats. There are 11 councils yet to announce their results.

In each polling station on Thursday a count was kept of how many people arrived who did not have a valid voter identification document and thus were not allowed to vote. So we will know the overall total of such occurrences of this for the entire local elections process, will we not? We will not.
The government has committed yet another act of serious foul play, as described below by Reality Check.

How many people were turned away over voter ID?
People working inside polling stations had a legal duty to record how many people they refused to give a ballot paper to and why.

Anyone who left after being told by the greeters outside polling stations that they needed ID will not have been counted.
