The official site has got the score the wrong way round. I expect them to correct it though. Charlton last lost at the Valley against Sheffield Wednesday 2 months ago and beat Morecambe 4-1 in the away fixture in March so this unexpected loss ended the unbeaten home run.

Morecambe are fighting their way out of the relegation zone and on the basis of their performance yesterday have a good chance of League One survival. Charlton played a very poor first half. Cole Stockton scored in both halves and Weir proved to be Morecambe's match winner grabbing the third.

Morecambe benefitted from some sloppy defending and ball watching. Jes Rak-Sakyi levelled for the Add1cks at the end of the first half and Fraser scored in the second with 11 minutes remaining, but Morecambe were able to see out the game for the 3 points. With two games remaining, certain players will need to show commitment and show they care if they are to stay at the club next season.

Charlton goals: Rak-Sakyi 45+1, Fraser 79

Morecambe goals: Stockton 8, 57, Weir 64
