Is Offord capable of making a forward pass?
CBR on for Nev, and Tabs on for 'last chance'
2-0. I don't understand. 10 minutes to go. 1 down and you dally with the ball at the back- no urgency to get the ball forward and then choose to give the ball to someone facing the wrong way with 2 men behind them.
And then Brook misses a sitter. The keeper even went down early to give him a better chance.
Long couldn't wait to get to the dressing room
Just listened to Bell's post-match. Can't disagree with his comments about the problems and negatives of the games. However, it's one thing to recognise the problems but another to effectively deal with them. After all, the same problems keep occurring: so is it that the players don't listen or take any notice or simply that they're not good enough, or both? Hopefully for Bell's sake, it's the middle option because at least he can change that in the summer.
One thing we've learnt is that it doesn't matter which keeper you play when Offord has got his flip flops on.
Come Sat make Rod captain and bring Connor in along side.
Must admit I'm losing patience with him. Been poor since his last suspension. He's always had a tendency to make his body shape face back towards the goalie but there used to be variety and other aspects of his defending were the strengths in his favour. But he seems to have lost a lot of his advantages.
A change of scene will do him good.
