Well first it’s not to come over as a total twât regarding Italian food.

Suffice to say, is it chippero or chippyo?

Chippero obviously but like most things, it depends where you are.

    Second.
I think we might hire a car for a few days.

Mrs donsdaft fancies Transylvania but I’m a bit worried about blokes in frocks.

I thought that was established. What does it have to do with your holidays though?

Very true. I'll probably just stick to a kebab from Tony's chippy/chipper.

Silver bullets can be used to ward off transgenders, I don't believe.

    Probably.

I'd rather go to Slovenia but of course it's in the opposite direction.

We used to live in a cottage which had one of Dracula's castles* in our back garden.
So might be nice to visit Vlad's original.

    * Many claims to fame I know, this one stems from Bram Stoker visiting a lot and describing the view across the gardens towards the sea in his famous book.

    The castle in question.

This will be our first time abroad since Brexit.

My new passport arrived last night, delivered by DHL!

    Oh the irony.

We will be able to stroll through the non EU lane when we get to Germany with my shiny new British Passport.

I'd much rather have an EU one.
