Other than his free kicks I don't much rate him. He does have a great free kick though, but we've already been down that path of buying someone just for their free kick prowess with Ryan Taylor

its a no from me, hes the very best for set pieces but he would not get in our midfield 3, the workrate they put in and the ground they cover is pivotal to Eddies tactics, players like Youri Tielemans is a much more technically gifted player than Willock or Longstaff but he has not got the engine that they have and as a result, he would not get in our team just like Ward Prowse

When Eddie Howe 1st joined and we were bottom of the league that was the time, we need a much better quality centre midfielders now.

He’s 28 as well, 29 later this year and arguably at his highest value in terms of transfer fee. Wrong demographic for us when you look at the lower ages of incoming players they’ve gone for recently.

He's a very average midfielder if you take away his set pieces.

Definitely not a player to take us forward.

Unless the PL implement a rule, You can designate a player to come on and take free kicks, then go back off.

Another player this season who has fluffed his audition at SJP. He did nothing to put himself in the shop window for a transfer to NUFC.

His midfield partner Lavia on the other hand was class. He hassled and pressed Bruno all match. In the first half he was the main reason we were unable to dictate the tempo.

I'd defo look at bringing in Lavia over say a McTomiNOPE!
