Ok, so, the domestic window opens on June 14 (although clubs won't be able to sign players based overseas until the international window opens on Saturday July 1).

    That's ten days away.

The new season starts on 12th August

That's just under ten weeks, or 70 days, away

Until we have the ownership issue sorted, the only person who can sign contracts with ANYONE, in any capacity, is Radrizzani or a nominated representative as he is, for now at least, majority shareholder and thus owner of LUFC.

A week has passed since relegation was confirmed, and the only matter of fact that has emerged is that Radrizzani was prepared to offer Elland Road as security against a loan intended to support the purchase of Sampdoria. The fact that the loan was never carried through is irrelevant, what matters is that Radrizzani was prepared to offer ER as security, without informing the minority shareholder, 49pers Enterprises who are at present co-owners of the ground via their minority shareholding! How that will have affected the relationship between the two shareholding parties can only be guessed at, however I suspect it hasn't improved it, and I also suspect it will make arriving at a conclusion on any takeover more rather than less difficult.

We also have the Radrizzani Twitter "letter", speaking of aspects of rebuilding, learning from mistakes (yeah, right!), etc etc, little or no indication that he is "on his way, and other "rumours" that he and Kinnear would stay on following a full takeover in some kind of "transition" period....WTF?

None of the above will play well with those who might be attracted by the prospect of managing/coaching at LUFC, given our history and profile (at least up to the last two seasons!), nor with players who might, at one stage, have considered joining LUFC and helping to get us back to the PL a challenge worth accepting, given that right now, we don't know who the owner(s) will be, nor the coach/manager, nor how many players (and of what calibre) might be on their way to other clubs.

10 days to transfer window, 70 to seasons start. tick tock, tick tock.

The league ended later due to the 6 week break for the WC, this will have ramifications on our preparations. It’s 7 days since our destination was confirmed. In that time they have decided to dispense with Sam. Am hoping they’re looking at more than whose currently unemployed, though all while our owner is trying to buy another club using Elland Road as collateral.

I haven't seen 1 manager listed that I have thought "yeah, now we have a chance". Sorry but no thank you for Gerrard, Parker or Bowyer. Think we need someone with more pedigree than that tbh.

Jesus Christ, Leicester release this lot.......

Youri Tielemans, Daniel Amartey, Ayoze Perez, Caglar Soyuncu, Papy Mendy, Ryan Bertrand and loanee Tete.

FFS what prospect of LUFC being able to offload the likes of Aaronson, Roca, Rutter etc etc for anything close to what was paid, when there are such quality alternatives

What next you ask? Relegation to League 1, is always possible. But I think its mid table mediocrity for 5 seasons i think.
