    Middlesbrough Post Match Thoughts

...and breathe! After everything we have been through recently it's finally happened and we're staying in the Championship. Has there ever been a more cobbled together team to achieve such a feat? From playing our 3rd string goalkeeper against the league champions to having to bring back a player with a season ending injury to make up the numbers and playing a target man with illness and injury who garnered dog's abuse from one Idiot on here. Enjoy today. Well done to the players, management, fans and everyone associated with RUFC.

    Thoughts on today's win!

Wonderful! Classic Rotherham performance. Great spirit against a classy Boro team and a far-from-classy ref.

Delighted for Odoffin and Woody. The forgotten men.

Tears of joy. Tears of relief. Never in doubt once the final whistle went.

    Party on Millers.

Told you it'd be a 1-0 win to you. Wasn't expecting such an awful performance from Keith Stroud but who cares - you're staying up and we're in the playoffs regardless.

    Happy days.

What a nerve wrecking game that was, but wow how good does that table look now. I was always worried that the poor refereeing from Stroud was going to spoil it for us because there were some very strange decisions given by him. It wasn't a classic but it was never going to be with so much at stake and the goal came just right to take some pressure off of the team. It feels like a promotion party at the moment and there's nothing like it for bringing a grown man to tears. Great result but boy what a slog. UP THE MILLERS!

Genuine congratulations to all you Millers. So pleased you made it and can build on that. Hopefully the Pigs will mess up the play offs , preferably with David McGoldrick destroying them. Again well done to South Yorkshires second best team.

You’ve obviously never seen Keith Stroud if you wasn’t expecting an awful performance.
