go back, say to the middle century AD....a ruling family would vanquish other lands, prove themselves in battle, uniting others etc, and become kings within an empire, but - the Absolute ruler was the Emperor/Pope - it they who would control or order their actions, though...not always, if the "kin" got their act together, and decided they'd had enough of being manipulated by some fat lunatic and his friends , then onto battle......but "how exceedingly incommodious", can't have these barbarians upsetting the order of things, so they gather some military types, who after a conquest, are given the throne, to receive the backing of the empire/bankers/church in return for their "obedience"....from there on, they'd spread their seed/bloodline throughout the lands, and intermarry their House.
As time passed.... and the Bankers became more powerful, they could increasingly manipulate these ruling dynasties - that is, whoever they chose to support financially, because, step out of line, and no wonga for them, or for a little realism, scribble a treasonous and threatening parchment, arrange it's interception...and the pen became the sword etc etc - the point bein - by then, the powerful lenders, or Bankers, became the Emperors, they who could make or break nations, and the Kings/Queens, little more than the keys to an army, their military tools.
And thats it "basically", and all that was required of the crowd, was to follow, to believe they were the citizens of sovereigns, when in reality, they were the fodder of greed and power, no different than today , they have the governments to sell it for them.

If you had told me Norder once Phil & Liz had gone their gob$hite of a son would "cancel" his brother and one son and marry his bit on the side I would not have believed it. Just to stretch the fantasy a bit further he pockets £2 billion in dodgy inheritances and then somehow manages to get the serfs lining the streets and potholes of London to watch him coronate his bit on the side.

    Unbelievable Jeff#

The police took 52 people out of circulation, they did not stop the hundreds of protesters from protesting. There was no additional trouble, therefore, the police ensured that there was public order and the public were protected. As usual, certain parts of the media have latched onto this non-event and are using it to pursue an agenda against the police.
Facile nonsense or not, they are still attention seekers and will always get the attention they crave from certain media outlets.
I've seen protesters throughout my 76 years and they have achieved bugger all, including all the anti-nuclear lot who campaigned for ever ---- I see that they were really successful because there is no longer any nuclear threat except for .....................
Carry on Protesting ---great idea for a film.

"The police took 52 people out of circulation".

Sounds like Stalinist Russia or the North Korean nut job at work to me.

How can anybody justify taking 52 people out of circulation? Detention without trial. When did the UK actually become a Police state?
