I guess that the only thing they can do about it is ask the 'owner' of the seat politely to move one way or the other to accommodate or make it a policy of season ticket ownership that 'orphaned' seats may be moved within reason to accommodate others.

I think the question is, are there still enough sets of two together for everyone who wants them? There probably are unless the club sells more season tickets this season.

Does this question of seats together hold people from attending when it's going to be a decent crowd? Would it be time to build the tier above the Family stand? TS said it would cost £5M, but no doubt nearer £8M now. After all RUFC have been paying rent for 10 yrs now, so extending the family stand would just go on the rent. I heard the rent was £1M a season in the Championship. You only build it once......

Single seats arent much use to most people wanting to buy seats in the family stand!

If you’re wanting two seats together and there’s a gap between them then just ask the club if they would get in touch with the seat renter to see if they’d move, I’m sure most would but sometimes it depends who they’ll be sat next to

Seeing regularly the empty seats mostly in the family stand but already purchased by season ticket holders, it seems a shame that these are not filled by people wanting to see a match.
Should the club monitor this regular “non attendance” with a view to in future selling the season ticket to someone who does actually want to come to match’s?

I will go to the club shop to renew our 2 season tickets, after the online renew didn't work properly.

I had a look at the website.

There are single separate seats on the same row in some cases, you could ask people across one seat.

When I looked there were seats together at the back of WS3, only two together 4 back in the same section (the ones I got) and some right at the front of NS sections. I didn't look in the family but there was a massive lack of 2 together. A good sign?

Depends on how many people renew. Should be most given it will be the Championship again.
