I'm surprised the Fraud Squad haven't felt Mr Pace's collar yet, since he trousered the £25 million blood money, Woody has started 24 PL games and scored 5 goals, near enough £1 million a game or £5 million a goal. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

I would assume that his loan to Manchester United comes to an end next Saturday after the FA cup final and I would be surprised if Vincent was not there as a guest of Manchester City.

At that point if he refuses to speak with or avoids Vincent I would hope Burnley FC would stop paying his wage, but retain his registration which the club should be legally entitled to do, since he is refusing to have any contact with Burnley FC.

I cannot see Alan Pace or Vincent Kompany being prepared to play childish games with Weghorst.

Is there any evidence or confirmation that the above is genuine, I can't find any reference to it anywhere in the media, and you'd think they'd be all over something like this. I'm not convinced someone isn't on a wind up, it wouldn't be the first.

At the risk of being called part of the ex-Grammar School conglomerate, I reckon that it is someone on a wind up, there are others around.

If indeed Viinni was having a problem contacting Wout, it's not the sort of thing he'd go public with. It would be kept in-house, we'd be the last to know.
