Being reported in local Cork press that he is joining.

    On loan?

Edit: I saw the article and it doesn't mention 'loan' at all. Seems crazy for us to let a promising young player go unless it's for big money, and I'm sure Cork aren't offering big money.

I remember thinking when I lived in the Czech Republic that Notts would be one of the biggest teams in the country based on stadium size and average attendances. It's completely bonkers.
I’ve watched a team who play in the Portuguese Premier League a few times.

They usually get around 2,250 for home games, and their stadium only holds 5,000.

Yeah, sounds familiar. I used to watch Bohemians 1905, and they usually get about 4500 in a rickety old stadium that holds just over 6000. They just qualified for Europe and have a player with 44 Czech caps playing up front. Quality-wise they'd absolutely hammer Notts, but in terms of infrastructure and support, most L2 teams are miles ahead.

For anyone else wondering, here's a link to a story about Tiernan Brooks' potential move to Cork City.

Pretty certain Williams said in his interview it's a loan.

League 2 was the 14th most-watched division in Europe last season and it could go even higher this season with Notts and Wrexham replacing Rochdale and Hartlepool (though the relegated teams from L1 won’t help in that regard).

Interesting story on the EFL attendance boom here:

If Aaron doesn’t sign for somebody today he won’t be getting paid.
