Think it is the same ban as Jordan Steven’s got - can’t play, train or attend any game. Not allowed to go to any ground or training facility too.

He's allowed to train again from September, so more lenient than Stevens'

Been confirmed today that Toney even back his own team Brentford to lose.

Surprised our lot didn't bet on us cos they could have made a feckin fortune this season

This should be a lifetime ban. Betting on your own team to lose is little different than throwing a game.

Surprised the bookies have not killed him. They are getting soft these days

Betting has always had the potential to be both corrupt and corrupting.

The 1970s/80s and 90s are rife with stories of jockeys agreeing to rig certain races in far flung places where they would all be in on it often with the owners and friends and family.

Before the days of computerised systems to spot and report anomalies there weren’t that many checks.

Agree that betting on your own team to lose deserves fairly harsh sanction.

Funny how attitudes over time have changed though as there was a lot of player betting on the Botham’s Ashes series and that seemed to be accepted as being okay not least on the famous Headingley test.

Why do we care? We (LUFC supporters, club officials, players etc) can't change anything that the FA or others do, so why all the heat and light?

We can change that which is in our hands, nothing more, nothing less. Maybe if there was/had been more focus on that by those who have the ability to make changes that count, we might not be staring down the barrel of the gun of relegation.

F00k Toney, f00k Brentford, f00k all the other PL clubs, f00k the FA, I neither know nor care about anything that they are concerned about, only LUFC.

    FA are consistently inconsistent right?
