Kevin wins the game and breaks the record as 'Well beat County

A late late Kevin van Veen penalty goal earns Motherwell a 1-0 win over Ross County at Fir Park. It was almost like a staged event to offer KVV the chance to win the game and score in a ninth consecutive game. - External Link

Another great win in a game which could have gone the other way.

Tough one on Wednesday and then hopefully some fun to end the season next Sunday.

What SK does over summer is going to be absolutely intriguing.

The average from his first 10 games would bring 79 points (!) across a whole season.

It'd be a club record by a comical distance and would mean we have the hotels booked in Europe, never mind merely passports out, by March.

That info is less to get excited for the new game that is next season than for just what he's done. I doubt a Motherwell manager, in the top-flight at least, has ever started like this.
