'Villa have taken the lead'...... is definitely one of the more annoying sporting phrases I've heard.

    “So” to start a sentence.
But the one that REALLY does my head in:
“Do the MATH” when MathS is short for mathematicS.

“Math” is an Americanism, extremely annoying and one that a certain member of my family has started using for reasons beyond.

It’s the same as saying to someone in a scientific type anology……”do the physic” instead of “physics”…….taking the “s” off these words is nonsensical.

We gave the world its greatest language so why do we follow when they b a s t a r d I s e it?

    Laters!

Now there’s another one that gets on my t I t s…..or should that be “tit” ?

"Can I get a...(closely followed by a latte or some other tosser coffee).

No, you can't get it, I'll get it though because I work behind the counter.

You need to say, "can I have a..(closely followed by a latte or some other tosser coffee).

    Yes you can have that.

    I'll get it for you.

Because i work behind the counter and i can get it.

Another Americanism that boils my piss.

He's got no Pan B. Trotted out about every football manager who is losing games by fans who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
