I meant no offence to anyone, in particular Q165. I am sorry for my misunderstanding.

Please accept my apology, and for the record I am not a bad egg. I posted an opinion on a couple of threads which had a negative response from some, which appears to have set me off on the wrong foot.

Again, thank you for the clarification.
Are you Carolgees, by any chance?

No, and I’m not Viaduct either, though that is another user name I have been accused of being.

I am just me, ‘On Balance,’ who caused a stir somehow because I did not agree with another posters definition on a subject matter.

Laughter In The Rain by Neil Sedaka……wow, what a fabulous song and a superb intro.

The quality of 70’s song writing with the likes of Sedaka, Carol King, Herp Albert, Burt Bacharach and so many more was astounding and the arrangements were sublime.

I grew up on Glam Rock, Punk, New Romantic stuff but always loved the music my parents loved such as this you’ve brought up.

    Correct WCV.

    I don’t know yours I’m afraid!🤔

    Here’s another from me…….

I first felt a fist and then a kick,

I could now smell their breath,

They smelt of pubs, and Wormwood Scrubs,

And too many right wing meetings!
