Of course it wouldn't be spoiling it for others if I didn't participate, the only thing that would effect was one less entrant as I certainly wouldn't want anybody else to stop enjoying themselves doing it,the winners pot wouldn't have even been lessened because I offered to donate my usual pledge, your argument makes no sense

It would spoil it for me Chalky and I suspect for quite a few others on here.

This despite the fact that 15,000 tickets have already been sold for a game that involves a round trip of over 600 miles with a 1.30 kick off on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend. The supporters buses are typically setting off for the game at 4.15 am and there are no trains from Carlisle that day that would get to the match on time.

Hardly a lack of interest in the match.

Against this background, withdrawing from Predictocomp would represent one hell of a flounce and would only go to confirm many Cumbrian suspicions that any one south of Kendal is a soft southern *******.
Oy…. I thought the line was drawn at the Pencil Museum in Keswick.. there’s fo0k all in Kendal unless you want some Mint Cake…

Moan moan moan, last time I went to Wembley had an Exec Room at the Hilton Watford…a good few beers before we set off..£5 in a taxi as it was a 20 min walk to the Station.. at Wembley in a flash & also had a swim before setting off as can book in from 1pm… a short train ride, some beers near the stadium, nice food.. comfy nights sleep… up & another swim and a tasty full English breakfast… complained on arrival to the General Manager and got the entire bill wiped… £85 for the room & Breakfast (Corporate Rate) & bar bill was about £80 had a couple when we got back & a bottle of wine) in addition I got Honours points as well for another nights stay in any UK Hilton Hotel… True story…. One thing though… wasn’t watching the Dale… AC/DC concert with my daughter 😀

AC/DC - ok, but a pale imitation of bands that went before.

Its a psychcological thing,Stockport will be favs and the very thought of putting them down to win will not be in the mindset of some because it could happen and ruins the script. Now if Carlisle were playing Raffles Rovers everyone would predict a win with full confidence if you get my drift and would be full of predictions.

Just because they don’t have a keyboard band member 😛…

At this point in the season I would feel far better being the underdog than favorites, the fans can go out and enjoy the experience of Wembley and the gap isn't that wide between the two clubs,I'm looking forward to watching it on tv and I can honestly see Carlisle winning even if it was to spoil my few days away though but winning 2-1 would make it up
