It would be a great end to the season if Barnsley win. If it happens, the set up to it has been perfect. Practically every pig fan I've spoken to are convinced that they've finally turned the corner and are "destined" for the Championship (and beyond?).

It will be nice to watch the final EFL game of the season and feel like I have a vested interest

Wednesday will be favourites, but they're also more than capable of blowing it.

    Barnsley win 2-1

We beat Dagenham twice and lost when it counted at Wembley.

Barnsley had beaten the pigs twice so i hope they don't do what we did.......................up the Tykes..

I see Wednesday are likely to be taking 44,000 fans to Wembley following the EFL decision to take back 6,000 of Barnsley’s allocation & give them to Wednesday due to high demand. I know Barnsley sold 20,000 as of a couple of days ago, so if they sell the remainder of their allocation, a crowd of 75,000 or so is likely.

Surely the efl has to award promotion to our feathered foes now based on this ticket demand
By all means continue to play the game this weekend but it would be just ceremonial

Barnsley for me although not too bothered which one finally gets promoted.

Win - Win for RUFC - local teams & potential sell out near enough a cert.
