The rules seem to be mere guidelines for the bigger clubs. Even Serie A , long known for corruption and scandal, seems to hold their bigger clubs to account more than the Prem. I won’t hold my breath waiting for the hammer to fall on Manchester City, but you know if Wolves or Fulham or someone else breaks the rules, it won’t be let go.

This feels like a story line that's being hyped up by the press, it's a little disappointing that our Manager wasn't clear on our financial situation but he now understands that he's going to be working with a restricted budget and may have to sell to buy. And we will have to moderate our expectations for this window as we'll be shopping at Tesco not Fortnum & Mason.

We got lucky with our business in the January window for sure, if Lopetegui stays then I’m hopeful we’ll be alright… our performances today and against Brighton are real cause for concern though.
