Also, I have never said that sending players out on loan (now or at any point in the past) was a rejection of said player(s), simply that the loanees might see it as such, given that those who were subsequently brought in at great expense (record breaking in some cases) to fill the roles that several loanees had already filled in the 1st team with a good deal of credit, were no better and in many cases inferior to the loanees in the positions they were expected to play in for LUFC. It would be entirely understandable if the loanees did indeed feel some sense of resentment in those circumstances (and I'm not "inventing" or embellishing the circumstances).

You didn't "merely point out" anything.

Your opening remark "Talking shyte as usual", followed by the Kane example, and ending with the ever-endearing "you have no idea about youth development and every post you put up shows it... stop making a fool of yourself... again", ignoring (as usual) that I have never claimed any expertise in youth development of any sort in any sphere of activity or at any time, but let's not let fact get in the way of a good old rant, eh?

Btw, I wouldn't know what a "deflection" skill was if it jumped up and bit me, but ignoring, sure, I've done that with HO already.
You've been saying how our loanees will have ill feeling towards the club for having been loaned out and youth not given a chance... then you name George Best (who any team at this time is unlikely to have a player on the books with his quality) then you mention Kane, who after playing was sent out on loan again.... but hey

Please, read my posts and try not to put words in my mouth or sentiments I haven't expressed. I have NEVER said that players WILL feel negatively towards LUFC, simply that there is a strong possibility that they might (particularly when the treatment they have received from the club isn't what IMHO could be described as "optimal"). Seeing inferior players (you would suggest otherwise?) brought in at vast expense to play in positions where they (the loanees) have already acquitted themselves well in the LUFC 1st team isn't likely to engender a hugely positive response.

It's a very different picture to the one where a player is genuinely loaned out to get 1st team game time in order to develop, this isn't that picture. The imports from the last two transfer windows, brought in to positions where it was inevitable that the loanees would be displaced, were brought in largely to satisfy the 49-ers, and Radrizzani/Orta were too weak to stand up to them and point out that none were of adequate quality for the Premiership (as has been shown in all but one example, that of Gnonto).

As for Best and Kane, they were simply examples of players who debuted at a young age for their 1st team. Kane may have gone back out on loan, others didn't, that wasn't the point of mentioning those names, more to illustrate the "if they are good enough, they are old enough" adage (as I pointed out).

Shame that you (and some others) don't have either the intellectual capacity or the capability of objective analysis to understand. Pity that you (and others) prefer to tackle the man, not the ball, but it happens, unfortunately.
