    Charkie Cresswell ....the verdict.

An excellent player and a mainstay in our defence except for our last few games ( muppet West Brom player whacked him in the face) Great attitude on and off the pitch, he was noticed and picked for England under 21's to play against France, not subbed , played full 90 min a 4-0 win against the froggies. Said he loved his time with the Lions, you have an even better player now I would guess.

Thanks for the compliments regarding Cresswell, much more I suspect than would have been forthcoming from the club he signed up to.

Given how we have treated him and others, I'm tempted to suggest he would be better going back and helping you get promotion next season, because there is f00k all prospect of that happening with the basket case we will up being.

Why would he want to play for us, Billy?

He's a Preston lad originally, from when his dad, Richard, was playing at North End - though he (dad) played a short spell at ER after Preston and presume that's where the Leeds connections comes.

Charlie ha had to to have surgery following his latest battle on the pitch and I am told he is doing ok.

Thought he was a superb centre half, and was disappointed when he went on loan, as he was considerably better than what we were left with
