Bet you would have got good odds for that at the start of the season, in fact,all 4 teams that made the play offs were not expected, with maybe the exception of Middlesbrough.
This shows 2 things,the league wasn't as strong this season, and maybe we could do it one day.

Yep, good odds on Luton if you’d had a bet.
Seen it mentioned a few times that the championship was not as strong this season but it could be argued that it was in fact stronger.
Teams that thought wouldn’t do well did and some expected to do well didn’t. Maybe maybe it’s a bit unkind to conclude that un fancied teams really didn’t do so well and it was more down to the teams expected to so we’re underperforming.
Our performances against the higher up teams would suggest that there wasn’t such a gulf between the top and bottom.

Three teams who were floundering at the early stages of the season, Cov Boro and Wba, all had impressive upturns in form

Cov even stuck by their Manager so well done to them. A disappointing end but nevertheless a very successful season considering their pitch problems, ownership issues and then the lease on the stadium causing significant disruption
