Martin Samuel article in the times

Cracking informative article, showing how the cartel of europes greedy clubs have us all over a barrel,

Uefa's financial distribution to clubs is skewed in favour of the elite, even if Newcastle had won the PL they would still get less CL money than Arsenal, City, Manure for competing. It shows how corrupt to the core Uefa and the elite clubs actually are.

The elite get money for historical performance in european competition, Man City will get 24million whereas we will get 1 million

when people like Martin Samuel start to expose the greedy cartel, it makes me think theres a scandal about to erupt exposing them all, none of the top journo's give a **** about us

This all came in to affect to clubs pushing for the Super League. To get them to calm down & maintain some form of control UEFA offered them this Legacy coefficient on earning.

It will come into effect with the competitions structural changes 24/25 I believe.

Yes it's a way of keeping the hierarchy in place, Placate the debt ladened Real Madrid, Barcelona & Juventus.

It is shocking and I feel sorry for the rest of the club with ambition to smash the Fraud 6 for example. We will be fine, we have elite business people running our club. Villa don't have the same sort of financial power and reach as the PiF so they might struggle not getting that UCL money regularly.

We are gonna be fine, they can not stop us. Soon the will be looking to change the rules so that 'clubs who's name starts with 'N'' can only get 10% of the prize money as they won't have any other way to restricting us.

However in summary, it's all fraud to ensure the top clubs keep coining in the cash and desperately cling on to their fading glory as they are mismanaged and defraud their respective leagues and competitions.

its going to open a can of worms, the very basis of our legal fight for the takeover was anti competition law,

    this is 100% anti competitive.

Even if Liverpool don't qualify for the CL for the next 2 seasons and then do 3 years down the line, they will still get more money for participating than us if we qualify for the next 3 years running!

    that is disgusting

Correct, its absolutely repugnant but in 5yrs time it will matter less & in 10 yrs of continuous competition in the UCL our coefficient will match any team in Europe and they will be able to do nothing about it 😎

If you think about it the parachute payments are very similar to this. Basically unfair to the non relegated teams in the Championship.

Both are anti- competition and against sporting integrity. With parachute payments the system, basically, rewards failure although at least doesn’t dictate how much a club can invest in new players.
UEFA’s system is an insult to fair competition. There should be no points system at all. This season Liverpool missed CL but they have qualified in the several seasons previous meaning that their squad has already been strengthened over those years - they have gained the advantage already. This system here aims to artificially maintain them as successful - grossly unfair and it’s surprising this has been allowed to happen, legally.

It's UEFA looking after their own, basically. And we're not in that club.

Fuck 'em. Will make it all the sweeter when we do finally win something.

Ok, ok...'if'...this is Newcastle United, after all.

Yeah it's a pathetic attempt to placate the fraudulent babies who's names are used to promote the UCL to sponsors.

Sadly money talks and sponsors what to see those brand names next to theirs.

Newcastle is an old name in world football & association with all the PiF brands will, in time, be one of the big brands Master Card etc will want to see their business associated with.

Is it good? Is it the best thing for the sport and general competition? Is it the best thing for every average fan?

Answer - Absolutely not. However, like with everything in life. What is good for the majority of people is never considered. This world revolves around the whims, wants, desires and commands of the ultra rich & the global corporations.

Fortunately for Newcastle United, We are the Ultra Rich. We are no owned by the Bilderberg group, We are the Elite.

Sit back, enjoy the ride. Have sympathy for those who will miss out. the real fans of real teams. Those who don't disrespect us for being fortunate enough to be purchased by the PiF. I will always make sure I have real football conversations with real football fans.

The fans of the Fraud 5 (excluding City, I have loads of friends who are city fans - 10 yrs living in Manchester, a mutual hatred for the red filth) can all get to F**K!
