Literally almost every stat you can look at is worse under Goodwin than Fox whilst Fox played harder games, albeit double the amount

BTW I am in no way defending Fox, but I have seen absolutely nothing from Goodwin to suggest this isnt going to be a disaster. Continuity is the only positive
Fox also didn’t have to deal with so many injuries in such a short period of time.

The point is Fox was hounded out, and quite rightly so because his record was horrendous, but whatever way you look at it, Goodwin's numbers are worse, time will tell if thats a good decision but we have just rewarded failure

True, but that's not taking into account the damage done to morale and confidence long before Goodwin walked through the door.

Failure for us getting relegated??? No his numbers aren’t worse , Fox was in charge a lot longer and was also there with Ross , you can say he didn’t have the impact we all hoped for but that’s it , there are a lot more to blame than him for us going down

The biggest damage to morale and confidence was the goalkeeper. He sucked the life out us. Fox was complicit in our downfall and should never have been appointed. His lack of tactical substitutions cost us a few valuable points a time were clear for all to see in games we were winning but couldn't see through. Win, lose or draw, he looked and sounded like he was prozac.

Foxy I'm sure said he didn't want the joab in the first place!

As much as I detest Kris Boyd, he is right when he says our 2 keepers wouldn't get a pick for beat the goalie at a village fete! I wonder if anyone has actually sat down and worked out how many points Gittitaefeckie actually cost us, but then I wonder how much was lost to players downing tools, considering 3 points is the gap.

He did though from January have to deal with injuries, our best spell of the season was under Fox from Oct to Jan before those injuries, 4-0 v Sheep, 1-0 v Hibs, 4-0 v Killie, 3-0 v County, 1-0 in Perth, 2-2 draws with Hearts and Hibs we should have won (soft pen in one and careless not seeing it out at Easter Rd) was part of a very decent section (only decent really other yacc thr three wins pre split) of the season, went all wrong after, not helped by the Jan window and those away games v Killie and Hearts with the missed pen and the red card respectively, plus we outplayed Goodwins sheep at Pittodrie losing to a pen gifted by Birighitti to be honest

The fact the mood of the fans changed was the main positive about Fox going on the back of Asghar leaving

That's not to say I'm against JG, I like the cut off his jib but my belief isn't fully there as yet, the signings he makes will be interesting to see

Your last bit there Shedka has me thinking that JG will be ridiculed at every signing if it doesn't meet the exacting standard we are expecting!

Why did he get the nickname "Jim Cannywin" at Aberdeen?
