We need to get behind him now. I was getting around to backing Davidson before he knocked us back. WOuld have preferred either to many of the names bandied about. Docherty has something to prove. We need new ideas. The infrastructure needs changed. Hopefully Docherty will get to grips with it. He knows the league, he knows the players in our budget range. He knows our players.

Wud have preferred to keep GB but he's a better choice than courts, bullen, Hughes, and probably Davidson given how our support reacted.
